Hello Young Democrats of Harford County!
I hope you have all had a great holiday and that the New Year is off to a good start. As I am sure you know things went well for Maryland Democrats in 2006, but we will only improve upon our recent success if we stay active and informed. This is why I am proud to announce the ‘Young Democrats of Harford County’ meeting schedule for 2007!
As before we will stick with the third Wednesday of the month for our general meetings. We will be off in February, August, and December. Therefore our 2007 meetings will be on the following dates:
WEDNESDAYS:
March 21; April 18; May 16; June 20; July 18;
September 19; October 17; and November 21.
Remember all meetings start at 6:30pm at Sean Bolan’s in Bel Air.
Finally, it is with sadness that I report Eric Jankowiak has had to step down as the YDHC treasurer. Eric is a top-notch DEM however, and I am glad to say he will still be involved with the club and the party! Kim McCarthy has agreed to step in and tackle the treasurer position, so be sure to contact Kim for registration and other YDHC financial information.
Remember that although a non-election year, 2007 will be an important year for us Democrats to be vocal and visible. Our activism this year will GREATLY impact our chances of success in 2008 and beyond. I look forward to seeing you all on the 18th at Sean Bolan’s; and please look forward to further updates and service opportunities as they present themselves.
